Stallions nominated after July 15th will not be advertised as nominated in the sale catalog.
Stallions nominated after the CCQHA sale will be subject to a $75 late fee.
If your stallion has been nominated before, it is not necessary to resubmit the registration. Just send a note indicating that you are renewing your nomination along with $200 to the above address for Ally Capps.

Futurities
CCQHA Premier Futurity
August 30, 2008 - Eastern Montana Fairgrounds
If you have purchased a horse through any CCQHA sale, your horse is eligible to compete in the CCQHA Premier Futurity. This futurity is open only to horses that have sold in the ring in a previous CCQHA Sale.
Classes are:
Yearling Longe Line (70% emphasis on movement, 30% on conformation)
Two Year Old Performance (western pleasure and reining class)
Three Year Old Performance (western pleasure and reining class)
Many of the horses sold through the CCQHA sale will also be eligible for the CCQHA Breeders Futurity. You could potentially buy a weanling that would be eligible for both futurities thereby doubling your chances for a payback. The 2005 winner of the CCQHA Breeders Futurity in the Stallion/Gelding division went through the CCQHA sale. This horse was eligible for a payback of $1200. And yes, if you shop well, you can buy a colt that is eligible for both futurities!

 CCQHA Breeder's Futurity

The CCQHA Breeder's Futurity is a special event only open to the offspring of nominated stallions and/or mares. The nomination fees make up the added money for the purses and cover futurity expenses. Added money is expected to exceed $6,000 for 2008! Please see below for a current list of nominated stallions.

The Stallions of CCQHA!
The following is a list of stallions and their owners and the years those horses are nominated for. If a horse has a "yes" in the column for "2004 & Before" then all foals born in 2004 or before are all eligible. If a horse has a "yes" in the column for 2005 then foals born in 2005 are eligible and so on. Foals are eligible for life once their sire is nominated for the year of their birth. Breeders are paid a return if a horse sired by their nominated stallion places in the top three of their division. 1st place is $150 to the breeder, 2nd place is $100 to the breeder and 3rd place is $50 to the breeder.
Offspring of these horses are eligible for the CCQHA Breeders Futurity. This year's added money is nearly $7,000! Horses in bold letters nominated for 2007.
